Latino Public Broadcasting is joining non-profits around the world in celebrating #GivingTuesday, a global movement dedicated to giving back. Founded in 1998 with funding from the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, LPB has awarded over 10 million dollars to filmmakers nationwide, provided over 200 hours of national programming to PBS, and supported approximately 300 filmmakers per year through professional development initiatives for the advancement of Latino producers.

Help us provide a voice to the diverse Latino community throughout the United States by making a pledge to Latino Public Broadcasting. With your generous contribution, you too can join our efforts and allow our work to continue and grow, helping to bring rich and diverse programs about the Latino experience to audiences everywhere. Our program highlights include: Latino Americans, 2014 George Foster Peabody Award recipient; LPB’s VOCES on PBS, the only national documentary series on public media devoted exclusively to showcasing the rich diversity of the Latino cultural experience; Reportero -nominated 2014 Emmy News and Documentary; The Longoria Affair -nominated 2011 Emmy Outstanding Historical Programming; The Life and Times of Frida Kahlo – nominated 2006 Emmy Outstanding Cultural & Artistic Programming; The State of Arizona, Cine Golden Eagle 2014.

Your support will ensure that programs like these continue to have a space in the realm of public media. Gifts of any amount are greatly appreciated and will support LPB’s mission as a developer and funder of Latino content for public media. Remember that all donations are tax-deductible.
