Andres Alegria is a producer of documentary films and a television editor. Andres has also been a television editor and producer for over 40 years with credits that include national and local news, documentaries and nationally syndicated programs for all the major networks both commercial and public. He has co-produced three internationally distributed independent documentaries with the Freedom Archives in San Francisco. In addition to producing independent films and videos, he currently edits and manages post production for Hoff Productions, a major producer of television programming for U.S. and international markets.

Abel Sanchez, originally from San Francisco, developed a passion for music from a young age, leading his band Abel and the Prophets for over 50 years. He collaborated closely with Jorge Santana, co-writing many songs until Jorge’s passing in 2020. In the 1970s, his band Abel gained recognition in the U.S. and Europe, especially with their album “Please World.” After taking a break from music in the 1980s, Abel pursued a career with the US Postal Service, focusing on affirmative action and civil rights, where he advocated for a postal stamp honoring Cesar Chavez. This advocacy and connection with the Chavez legacy inspired him to create the documentary “Song for Cesar,” a project he dedicated fifteen years to.
