Juana enlists her granddaughters, Marina and Karina, to drive her to the Grand Canyon. The sisters pick up Juana from her senior facility and hit the road. Karina asks her grandmother why she chose their destination and Juana reveals the painful family history tied to it. Once there, Marina and Karina witness Juana settle some unfinished business that frees them all.
