Marcia Jarmel produces and directs for documentary filmmakers in addition to her work at PatchWorks. She has served as consulting producer to HBO’s Emmy­nominated “50 Children,” and consultant to Academy­Award­nominee “Last Day of Freedom.” She regularly consults on documentary film impact and distribution as well. She was a BAVC Mediamaker Fellow, and a resident at Working Films Content + Intent at Mass MoCA, Fledging Films’ Reel Education and Reel Impact, and SFFilm’s Film House.

Ken Schneider is a Peabody­winning producer. His passions are stories of war and peace, human rights, artists’ lives, and Cuba. In addition to his feature and short work directing and producing for PatchWorks, Ken has edited over 35 feature length documentaries for PBS, HBO, Al Jazeera, Showtime, and others. Films he edited have been nominated for an Oscar and multiple Emmys, and won primetime and documentary Emmys, a Columbia Dupont, two Peabodys, an Indie Spirit award and top awards at the Sundance Film Festival (See www.kenschneidereditor.net for details.) Ken has served as a NALIP mentor and an NEH panelist. He is one of the few Spanish­English bilingual editors in the San Francisco Bay Area and has traveled to Cuba 11 times.
