Robert Anderson Clift, Producer/Director

Robert Clift is a documentary filmmaker with a particular interest in cultural history and international relations. His effort to combine filmmaking with politics is a product of his politically oriented upbrining. Clift has worked as an editor on various projects including a documentary called RAT. Before forming Dugout productions with Salome Skvirsky, he worked with ABC’s Emmy award winning Fine Unit on a two hour documentary 1968/1998.

Salomé Aguilera Skvirsky, Producer/Director

Salomé brings an academic background in Literature and Film Studies to her projects. A recipient of the prestigious Provost Development Fellowship from the University of Pittsburgh, Skvirsky has devoted much of her professional efforts to further understanding her previous academic work on the relationship between filmmaker and subject in the ethnographic documentary. Salomé’s mother is Ecuadorian and her father is a Ukrainian Jew; she speaks fluent Spanish and provides a critical Latino perspective.
