ATLANTIDOC 4 AWARDS BEST DIRECTING PRIZE TO NATALIA ALMADA FOR ‘EL GENERAL’

LPB would like to congratulate Natalia Almada for receiving the Best Directing Award for EL GENERAL at Atlantidoc 4 in Monevideo, Uruguay. Presided by the Intendente de Canelones, Doctor Marcos Carámbula and the representatives of Atlántida, the Atlantidoc awards were presented by the festival jury: David Baute from Spain, Aldo Garay from Uruguay and Darío Gularte from Brasil. The LPB funded documentary EL GENERAL is a portrait of the Mexican President General Plutarco Elías Calles as told through recordings of the filmmaker’s grandmother.
