PBS SoCal Seeks Filmmakers for Local Community Event

PBS SoCal will be hosting an event for students interested in exploring careers in the STEM (Science Technology Engineering and Math) and DMA (Digital Media Arts) field. The showcase will feature career exploration activities, demonstrations and exhibits and a Meet the Experts area where students can explore their future career options.

PBS SoCal is looking for producers, directors, filmmakers, editors and others in the TV Production or Film Industry to share their expertise with students. Experts will take questions, screen their work, and give advice to high school students interested in careers in the television and the film industry. The event will take place April 13-15, 2012, at the OC Fair and Event Center Youth Expo in Costa Mesa, CA.  Additional details here.

If you are interested in volunteering for a one-hour session, please contact Jamie Annunzio Myers at jannunzio@pbssocal.org.
