Marco Villalobos is a Fulbright Scholar, A UNESCO Ashberg Laureate, and a Latino Broadcasting Fellow who has written for television, film, and lifestyle magazines for over a decade.  Marco’s work has been featured on northern Californian public television station KQED’s arts blog, The Economist, the and the PBS News Hour.

Daffodil Altan
is an Emmy-nominated journalist and documentary producer. Most recently, she produced the Frontline/Univision documentary, “Rape on the Night Shift,” a collaboration between the IRP, Reveal at The Center for Investigative Reporting and KQED, which investigated the hidden reality of rape on the job for women janitors in the U.S.  The film won the Investigative Reporters and Editors award for best Broadcast/Video in 2016 and was nominated for two national Emmys. Previously she was a producer at the Center for Investigative Reporting, where her reporting on teen solitary confinement at Rikers Island earned her an Emmy nomination and was part of a wave of renewed coverage that led to the banning of solitary confinement for teens at the New York City jail. Her print, radio and production credits include: Frontline, Univision, MSNBC, Telemundo, KQED, the PBS NewsHour, The Los Angeles Times, Mother Jones, the OC Weekly, and the San Francisco Chronicle, among others. She has received awards for her work from Investigative Reporters and Editors, Inc., the Society of Professional Journalists, The San Francisco International Film Festival, the Los Angeles Press Club and the Imagen Foundation.

Raymond Telles’ twenty-five year career in film and television includes the production of documentaries and news magazine segments. He has produced and directed for Public Television, Turning Point and Nightline-ABC, Dateline- NBC, and American Masters- PBS. His independent productions include films for the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA), the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH), and the Independent Television Service (ITVS). Among the more than 30 documentaries Telles has produced and directed are: “Pedro E. Guerrero: A Photographer’s Journey,” for the PBS series American Masters, “Continent on the Move” for the PBS series Americas; “The Fight in the Fields,” a feature documentary on Cesar Chavez and the Farm Workers’ movement. Raymond has won numerous awards including three Emmy Awards, two PBSProgramming Awards for News and Current Affairs, The Ohio State Award, an ALMA Award, a NATAS Community Service Award, top honors in the San Francisco, American Film and Video Association, Chicago and New York Film Festivals, the DuPont-Columbia Gold Baton, 2 Cine Golden Eagles, as well as numerous other awards for his work in film and broadcast journalism.
