DOCULINK is a community for documentary filmmakers who share information, leads, ideas, and a commitment to support each other’s growth as nonfiction filmmakers.
On Tuesday, March 27th, 6:30-8:30pm, Doculink, in conjunction with Elysian and Clockshop, is hosting a PBS Night with visits from national and local PBS programmers who can educate us about how PBS broadcast works, including which strands of PBS broadcast independent documentaries, what types of films they seek, how to apply, how the PBS contracting process works, what kind of payment filmmakers can expect for their work, and information about the size and scope of both regional and national PBS broadcast audiences. This event will include meet and greet time, talks with very special guests Kathy Lo and Brenda Brkusic, and a Q and A.
