You Can Help Save Public Broadcasting!

SIGN THE PETITION TO SAVE PUBLIC BROADCASTING HERE!

On February 19, the U.S. House of Representatives passed H.R. 1, which eliminates federal funding for public broadcasting. This would have a severe impact on public radio and television. As the bill passes to the Senate it is more important than ever to help prevent the elimination of public broadcasting.

Public broadcasting has enriched the lives of Americans for generations. Through 368 public television stations and 934 public radio stations, public broadcasting educates and informs over 170 million Americans monthly. The elimination of funding, as approved by the House of Representatives, will have a devastating impact on communities nationwide. It will deny underserved audiences, including children and low-income Americans, access to educational and cultural programming.

LPB encourages you to take action and help save public broadcasting. For more information about how you can do your part, please visit: www.170millionamericans.org.
