Ready to Learn Grant: Digital Video
Request for Proposals

As part of a Ready To Learn (RTL) grant to the Corporation for Public Broadcasting and PBS from the U.S. Department of Education, PBS Digital Studios is now accepting proposals for short-form video content intended for parents of young children, especially families in underserved communities. PBS Digital Studios is seeking content that provides parents with tips and strategies for building their young children’s scientific thinking and inquiry skills, and/or their early literacy skills. The attached PBS KIDS Science Framework and Literacy Framework provide more information regarding the science and literacy skills and practices that are developmentally appropriate for children ages 2-8 years old. More information regarding eligibility, audience, content criteria, and application requirements can be found in the full RFP. The deadline to apply is April 30, 2016.

Questions regarding the PBS Digital Studios RFP and the two PBS KIDS learning frameworks should be sent to Lauren Saks, Director Programming at lssaks@pbs.org.
