Back by Popular Demand: The Imagen Foundation's Entertainment Industry Career Workshops

The Imagen Foundation will once again be offering the Entertainment Industry Career Workshops on the various skill sets necessary to gain empolyment and career paths. These workshops will be held beginning February 8th on a weekly basis. The first two workshops are:

 

Wednesday, February 8, 2012 – 6:30pm

“RESUMES THAT WORK” WORKSHOP

Ever wondered why you never got a call back after submitting a resume for a job? Learn the important points on how to write an effective resume from an industry professional who has been an HR specialist for over 35 years.

 

Wednesday, February 15, 2012 – 6:30pm

“NAILING THE INTERVIEW” WORKSHOP
Julio Garcia, Director, Human Resources, NuvoTV

Learn how to interview and give the best impression. Get pointers on appropriate interview attire, effective body language, giving a dynamite presentation, and how to follow-up successfully.


Workshops will include refreshments. You must register in advance; space is limited. Workshops will be held at:

Parking is available on-site on a limited basis. Additional parking is available across the street at the Gold Line Del Mar Station and the first 90 minutes are free, $2 per hour, thereafter.
